The Need
Early intervention is critical in the growth and development of children with diverse and complex needs. And all children, regardless of their economic circumstances, should have equitable access to programs and services.
The unfortunate economic reality often means families who have children with diverse needs face financial barriers. Aspire developed Fee Assistance as a compassionate approach to support families with their parent fees, ensuring equitable access to vital services for their children.
The need in our community is growing. Each year, Aspire receives more applications for Fee Assistance. We fundraise annually for our Fee Assistance Initiative, but this approach has many variables, creating an unstable foundation in our ability to provide families with financial support.
The Solution
Aspire developed the Fee Assistance Endowment in collaboration with the Community Foundation of Central Alberta to create a long-term, sustainable solution to this demonstrated need.
Once this is in place, the annual disbursement from this fund will be allocated to Fee Assistance to meet the needs of future families.
Through the Endowment, Aspire is creating a fiscally responsible path for the future that will alleviate our annual fundraising requirements for Fee Assistance.
